Heavy Haul Freight
Heavy haul loads have special challenges as every project has individual requirements. RADCAD works to find the right equipment configuration to move your shipment while ensuring the necessary permits are obtained, along with any route planning that may be required due to weight or road restrictions.
Together with our preferred carrier base, RADCAD has the capability and expertise to move anything from the smallest skid steer to some of the largest transformers, cranes, excavators, etc… as well as everything in between.
Some considerations that need to be addressed prior to transportation of heavy haul or over-dimensional loads include:
- Understanding the legal limits in the transportation area
- Know how to find out if your load is oversize
- Understand the rules for and when you require travel escorts for your oversized loads
- Understand all the factors that may impact your oversized load transportation schedules

Rail Freight
Our team has experience in Rail Transport and is able to assist in a variety of ways to accommodate your transport move. Whether your move is a single skid, partial to full container, heavy machinery or a full car load, we can provide options that best fit your requirements. There are many benefits to using rail, a few of them being environmentally friendly, saves CO2, has enormous capacity at low freight rates and is rarely affected by traffic congestion.
Rail Services include Route Studies, Less than Container Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Rail Car, Door to Door Service, Over Dimensional / Over Weight, and Rail Trans-Loading – Laydown Yards / Transfer Station.
Air Freight
RADCAD works with fully accredited IATA service providers, who offer the highest standards in both international and domestic air freight forwarding services. We offer competitive rates and advice on all of our general and express cargo shipments. Through our network we are able to help design and deliver the right solution to manage your air freight needs.
